PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2002-Present Licensed Private Investigator & Correctional Consultant specializing in criminal matters and Community Corrections, focusing on analyzing cases and formulating Correctional Plans for criminal defendants utilizing community based services whenever possible.

2005-Present Probation Supervisor – Marin County Probation Department, Currently assigned to the Supervision Unit of the Adult Division and previously assigned to the Investigations Unit of the Adult Division in which all pre-sentence investigations and reports are conducted and prepared for the Court.

1994-2005 Assistant Supervising Deputy Probation Officer – Marin County Probation Department, experienced in both juvenile and adult supervision, investigations & pre-sentence reporting to the Court including felony Determinate Sentencing and W&I 707 juvenile reports.

1990-1994 Assistant Program Director – Leaders in Community Alternatives (LCA), providing electronic house arrest programs to various Criminal Justice Agencies within the United States. Responsibilities included the supervision and managing of full service home detention/electronic house arrest programs providing services to thousands of clients throughout the United States.

1989-1992 Juvenile Hall Group Counselor/Deputy Probation Officer - Marin County Probation Department, specialized in juvenile investigations and supervision as well as adult parole/home detention program via County Parole.

2005-Present Instructor – Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation/California Corrections Standards Authority certified trainer for Determinate Sentencing Law/Core Probation Officer Course.

2002-2005 Secretary - State Coalition of Probation Organizations (SCOPO). SCOPO is compiled of California Probation Departments involved in the collaboration of probation related issues including policy implementation and legislative action.

1997-2005 SCOPO Board of Director Member – Represented Marin County Probation line staff on the SCOP Board of Directors.

1998-2002 President & Vice President – Marin County Probation Officer’s Union

1996-2000 President - California Electronic Monitoring Association (CEMA). CEMA is compiled of public agencies operating Electronic House Arrest Programs as well as private agencies involved in the manufacturing and implementation of electronic monitoring equipment and providing of additional program related services.

1996- 2002 Supervised Visitation Provider – Marin & San Francisco County Family Courts. Responsibilities included providing supervision of non-custodial parents during visitation with their minor children as required by the Family Courts.
